The writer sees the need to rigorously emphasize that, at any stage, there were absolutely no political allegiances with any Sri Lankan politics of any nature, or any other realities of domestic political climate, which influenced the initiation and thereby formation of the SLCSWA. 1. An operative Constitution should be attached to the Final Report.

This document also had to be submitted with the Registration Form to the Authority at the time of the registration.
The task of formulating the Constitution was also undertaken by the writer. To accomplish this, the writer did research at all available channels, but the staff at the Multicultural and Ethnic Affairs Commission was the helpful in guiding the writer to access information available at their library.
(To this day, the writer is pleased to see that, with only a few minor resolutions, the SLCSWA has adhere d to the original Constitution formulated, which was adopted at the first General Meeting held in July 1987.)
All the above conditions were met, and the registration was completed in June 1987.
One other important thing to record is that a postal address had to be given to the Funding Body receive notices of the progress of the application and the writer took the decision to use her own home address with approval from other interested community members who encouraged the process.
