It is a great privilege and honour to write this message as the President of the Sri Lankan Cultural Society of Western Australia.

This Society was officially established in 1987 and for the last 34 years this Association has been one of the leading Societies among other organisations in Western Australia.

As per the last 3 decades, we will continue to encourage the recognition and development of Multiculturalism in Australia.

For the current year 2021/22, we are planning to help our mother land in various ways due to the pandemic situation and also facilitate  traditional Sri Lankan Social, Cultural and Recreational events to make aware & create interest among the younger generation of Sri Lankans living in Western Australia.

With my dedicated, determined board, I wish to steer the Sri Lankan Cultural Society to achieve our goals into the year 2021/22 and leave a legacy for others to follow.
